Interview with Amare

Amare Stoudemire was good enough to speak with me after his exit meeting with the team yesterday. Here's how it went:

Black Jesus Disciples: Amare, what is your main priority this offseason? Will you be working on your defense or rebounding or both?
Amare: ME.

BJD: Interesting. Can you give us some insight into the mood of the locker room after the series-deciding Game 5 against the Spurs?
Amare: ME.
BJD: Ummm, ok.

BJD: It sounds like Shaq will be staying in the Valley during the offseason. Any plans to work out together and build on your chemistry?
Amare: ME.
BJD: Wow.

BJD: Amare...
Amare: ME.
BJD: ...what about...
Amare: ME.
BJD: ...Coach D'Antoni's future...
Amare: ME.
BJD: ...with...
Amare: ME.
BJD:: ...the team?
Amare: ME. ME. ME. ME. ME. ME. ME.

Fascinating stuff there. Thank you to Amare Stoudemire for giving us an all-access pass into what makes him tick.
